Welcome. Whether you just moved to Harlow Crossing or you want a dentist who actually explains things, we'd love to meet you. Here's what you need to know before your first visit.
Booking your first appointment
Call us at (555) 014-2290 or email riverbend@example.com. Someone on our front desk team will ask a few quick questions, check your insurance, and find a time that works. We can usually see new patients within a week.
What to bring
- Your insurance card and a photo ID
- A list of the medications you take
- Recent X-rays from your last dentist (or we'll request them for you)
- Your questions
We'll email you a short health history form after you book. Fill it out at home and you'll skip the clipboard in the waiting room.
What happens at your first visit
Plan on about 90 minutes. You'll meet your hygienist and dentist, then get digital X-rays, a full exam, and a cleaning. Afterward we'll sit down together and go over what we found. If you need treatment, you'll get a written plan with costs before you leave. There's no pressure to schedule it that day.
If it's been years since your last visit, we may do your exam first and book your cleaning for a second appointment.
Feeling nervous?
You're in good company. Lots of our patients felt the same way before their first visit. Tell us when you book. We'll go slower, explain each step, and stop whenever you raise your hand. Every chair has noise-canceling headphones and a warm blanket, too.

What your first visit costs
With insurance, most first visits cost little or nothing. Without insurance, your first visit is $149 for the exam, X-rays, and cleaning.
